Purposes of FEFACS

  • Support the purposes of the Florida Association of Career and Technical Education
  • Promote Family and Consumer Sciences Education in Florida.
  • Provide opportunity for the exchange of ideas and materials and the sharing of experiences.
  • Develop a better understanding of workforce development.
  • Encourage technical and professional growth among the Family and Consumer Sciences teachers.
  • Keep the members informed of policies, plans, and issues of the Florida Association of Career and Technical Education as they relate to the development of workforce development.
  • Maintain an organization through which teacher educators of Family and Consumer Sciences may take an effective part in the work of Florida Association of Career and Technical Education.
