Health Occupations Educators Association of Florida (HOEAF) 

The mission of the Health Occupations Educators Association of Florida is to enhance the professional growth and development of Health Occupations Educators and to promote the development and advancement of Health Occupations Education.

Objectives:

Provide opportunities to strengthen technical and professional growth by facilitating the exchange of ideas, experiences, and materials.

Support the purposes of the Florida Association for Career and Technical Education and inform the membership of its activities.

Promote and support the Florida Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) and strengthen the HOE/HOSA partnership.

Disseminate information to the membership regarding legislation and other changes, which may impact HOE.

Reasons YOU should join HOEAF:

1) It is your professional teacher organization

2) Keeps you up to date on legislative issues

3) There are many professional organizations for individual professions BUT this is the only one that lobbies to keep you employed.

4) You tell your students they should join their professional organizations, so you need to be a role model.

5) You get to meet with that very important person- Judy Conlin.

6) You get to bid at the Health Science auction.

7) You learn creative teaching strategies.

8) You earn CEUs.

9) You get the HOEAF newsletter.
